In February consumption rate of data transmission services by Kcell and activ telephone subscribers within the entire Kazakhstan was over 8.5 million GB herewith 3 million GB of internet traffic was consumed in of Astana and Almaty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During February 2016 Kcell Company installed 26 base stations throughout Kazakhstan, including 15 2G and 11 3G. The stations were installed in Almaty, Aktobe, Semey, Uralsk, Shar (East Kazakhstan oblast), as well as Badamsha (Aktobe oblast), Zhapek Batyr village (Almaty oblast), Baiet village (Pavlodar oblast), Shakhovskoe and Krasnaya Polyana villages of the North-Kazakhstan oblast, Mikhailovka village (Kostanay oblast), Samarskoe village (East-Kazakhstan oblast). The Company also installed auxiliary equipment to improve its communication quality in the territory of gold producing enterprise JSC \u201cAK ALTYNALMAS\u201d located in Aktogai region of Karaganda oblast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Company enlarged mobile internet coverage in rural areas. Thus 3G auxiliary equipment was installed in Badamsha village located in Aktobe oblast and Zhapek Batyr village located in Almaty oblast to meet growing demand for data transmission services provided to residents of those settlement areas. 3G type communication from Kcell Company in Samarskoye village (East Kazakhstan oblast) came to light for the first time and now over 6 000 residents of this settlement area have an opportunity togo online using network of the leading mobile operator of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition in Mikhailovka village located in Kostanai oblast where 846 people live in total 2G type network coverage from Kcell came to light. The Company held its equipment adjustments in Krasnaya Polyana village (696 residents) and Shahovskoye village (856 residents) in North Kazakhstan oblast to improve voice communication quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Works for cluster optimization were carried on in the largest metropolis of the country \u2013 Almaty city which were held predominantly in the western part of this city (starting from Rozybakiev St. and to the North of Tole Bi St.). Main challenge for the Company\u2019s engineers in this region is to make network settings enabling to have data transmission speed up to 42Mb\/s and also improve voice communication quality to a considerable extent. Optimization of this cluster is carried out in active mode on earlier launched base stations and also new equipment which is being installed in that region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
