During the first spring month mobile operator Kcell carried on operation for expanding and upgrading the network intended for improving quality of communication and enlarging Kcell network coverage in remote residential areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Acting Technical Director of Kcell JSC Sasha Lekovich, – \u201cProviding high quality network coverage is one of the main tasks of Kcell. To do this we keep on actively performing scheduled works for upgrading the network, installing new base stations and enlarging coverage zone\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In March engineers and technicians of the company installed and upgraded 16 base stations in the cities of Shymkent, Taraz, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Zhanaozen as well as in villages Karasu and Betkainar in Zhambyl oblast, villages Stepnoye in North Kazakhstan oblast and Predgornoye in East Kazakhstan oblast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thus, 3G network from Kcell appeared for the first time in the last month in Karasu village populated with 3 504 people and Betkainar village in Zhambyl oblast where 4 441 people are residing; also in Predgornoye village in East Kazakhstan oblast with 3 thousand people as well as in the territory of oil field \u201cKonys\u201d in Kyzylorda oblast and Kyzylsai village of South Kazakhstan oblast and Amangeldy village in Kostanai oblast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thanks to enlarging the network quality of voice communication has been improved for residents of Shymkent, Taraz, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Zhanaozen as well as Stepnoye village in North Kazakhstan oblast where 687 people are residing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Individual network performance data by quality of Kcell communication in March neared and even exceeded the worldwide average figures. E.g. success percentage rate by voice connection was 99,53% in comparison with 99,25% of the worldwide average figure. Kcell voice transmission interruption in March was 0,59% in comparison with 0,73% of the worldwide average figure. Average data transfer rate in the company\u2019s network was 1,9 MB\/sec against 1,2 MB\/sec of the worldwide average figure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also Kcell network distinguished in March with low overload factor of voice channels in GSM standard. This indicator was 0,039% which is few times less than the worldwide average figure where this parameter equals to 1,59%.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
