Kcell Company has published information on regions of Kazakhstan with the highest level of LTE-devices penetration in its network. They are Astana, Almaty, Atyrau, Aktau and Pavlodar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As per the company information, the first place on LTE-devices penetration among the cities has been given to Astana, with the rate of almost 25%, the second place \u2013 Almaty with 24.3%, Aktau has got a bit more than 20%, Atyrau – 18%, and Pavlodar \u2013 17.5%. The distribution of regions with high level of smart phones usage in the rural area looks different. The first place is given to Mangistau oblast \u2013 11.2%, the second one is divided between Almaty and Atyrau oblasts \u2013 9.9%, the third place \u2013 Akmola oblast with 9.6%, the fourth place \u2013 Pavlodar oblast with 7.2%, and the fifth place is given to Aktobe oblast with the rate of 6.5%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
27% of all users of mobile internet have got LTE-devices at Kcell network, and 95% of these devices are the smart phones. More than 40% of smart phones supporting the LTE are the iPhone, and 38% – Samsung. The rest is distributed between LG, HTC, Lenovo, Sony, Huawei and other manufacturers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At present the company is arranging the active preparation to LTE network launch. More than 24 LTE pilot areas for testing by Kcell clients are already working in large cities of Kazakhstan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
