In June the radio engineers of \u00abKcell\u00bb have checked the quality of communication of the operator\u2019s network in 34 cities of Kazakhstan. The results of the drive-tests showed the perfect quality of the Internet and voice communication of \u00abKcell\u00bb network: the maximum speed of data transfer in certain regions was about 35.5 Mb\/sec, and the \u00abvoice from \u00abKcell\u00bb became on the level of 4.45 out of 5 maximum points as per the international algorithm POLQA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It became possible to reach such high results due to constant work of the operator on expansion and improvement of the communication quality all over the territory of Kazakhstan covering the most remote localities. In June the voice communication from \u00abKcell\u00bb appeared for the first time in 5 villages with minimum quantity of population in the regions, namely \u2013 Nickeltau village of Aktobe region (932 inhabitants), Ukrainka village in the same region (341 inhabitants), Tortui village (566 inhabitants) and Baskol (1,108 inhabitants) in Pavlodar region, Atameken village (936 inhabitants) in the West Kazakhstan region. Also 2 base stations of 2G standard have been installed in Atyrau and Semey cities, due to them the coverage of \u00abKcell\u00bb voice communication was expanded and installed in certain districts of these cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last month several thousands of Kazakhstani people living in remote area received Internet access through the operator\u2019s network for the first time. The world wide web is now available in the resort area of Zhasybay in Bayanaul district of Pavlodar region, Zhetekshi village in Pavlodar region (1,732 inhabitants), Ukrainka village named above, Karabatan station in Atyrau region, Sadchikovka village in Kostanay region with the quantity of population of 2,947 people. Also, the new base stations of 3G standard were installed in some locations of Atyrau, Aktobe and Semey cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In total in June our company installed 108 base stations of both standards in 8 regions of the country: Astana, Almaty, East and West Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Mangistau and Atyrau regions. 47 stations of 2G standard and 46 stations of 3G standard out of the above mentioned stations were strengthened for signal receiving due to adding additional equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
