PSI Stroy Industria, which conducts its operations in the territory of the East Kazakhstan region, has become the first client of Kcell for the fixed Internet service. The company’s management opted for Kcell as a provider of the fixed Internet service for many reasons, the main of which is the high speed Internet and the uninterrupted service (technical support and monitoring) on a 24\/7 basis. In addition, the facilities of these companies are at a considerable distance from the regional centers. In such circumstances, the mobile technologies alone cannot provide the required speed when transmitting the large data. This requires a comprehensive solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI want to note that our company is engaged in the construction and commissioning of industrial plants of great importance for the country’s economy. Therefore, compliance with the agreed schedule of works at the site is very important for us. Our facilities are often located in difficult locations, where there is no possibility to provide the staff with services for data operational exchange. At such sites the communication with the \u201coutside world\u201d can take place over the Internet: through the use of phones, email, and other services, necessary for the daily work of a regular office. We were pleased to receive the Kcell\u2019s favorable and high quality offer upon the service \u201cFixed Internet\u201d, which has been successfully implemented by the operator in the field \u201cAktogay\u201d located in the East Kazakhstan region, 900 kilometers from the regional center\u201d, – said Kanat Sarabaev, Information Technologies Director of \u201cPSI Story Industria\u201d LLP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the year of operation on this service market, the company connected 95 points in all regions of Kazakhstan. In the company’s portfolio this service is mostly in demand in the southern, northern and central regions of Kazakhstan. In general, the fixed Internet network of the company is distributed as follows: 25% – the southern region, 21% – the north and central regions, 19% – Astana, 18% – Almaty, 11% – in the east of Kazakhstan, and 6% – in the west. The clients of the company, using this service, note such advantages of the Kcell\u2019s fixed Internet as the service guarantee, prescribed in the service level agreement, unlimited symmetric channel to the desired speed, multi-level service and a wide geography of coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Olga Tsoi, Enterprise Department Director of Kcell JSC: \u201cThe high-speed Internet channels are highly sought after in the corporate market. Such indicators of the above service as the high speed, minimal latency, link reliability and speed of response to emerging customer requirements, both in cities and in remote strategically important facilities, are especially valuable. Our offer for the service \u201cFixed Internet\u201d is fully consistent with this demand, in these circumstances we focus not only on the quantity but also the quality of offered services along with the introduction of new innovative solutions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kcell offers a choice of two options for connecting to the service \u201cFixed Internet\u201d, depending on the technical capabilities: the organization of the last mile via the fiber-optic cable and radio-relay links. In the case of organization of the radio-relay channel of data transmission, Kcell uses the industrial equipment in the areas of the last mile, which ensures a reliable solution, comparable to fiber-optic communication lines. At the moment, Kcell provides its corporate clients with the service \u201cFixed Internet\u201d with a total channel width of about 1.2 Gb\/s. Our clients acquire the fixed Internet at speeds up to 160 Mbit\/s, which is quite a good indicator for this category of Internet services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main advantages of the fixed Internet are higher, in comparison with the mobile Internet speed performance indicators, data transmission quality and reliability.
