By the end of the first half of 2018, the company connected more than 9 million people in 50 localities of the country to high-speed Internet.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the first half of 2018, residents of eleven localities of Kazakhstan received access to high-speed 4G \/ LTE mobile Internet: Aiteke bi, Aksukent, Aralsk, Bayserke, Besagash, Zhanakorgan, Korday, Saryagash, Shiely, Shubarkuduk and village named after Turar Ryskulov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the first half of 2018, the Kcell and activ subscribers used more than 117 million gigabytes of Internet traffic. Compared to the same period in 2017, traffic grew by 36%. At that, 53 million gigabytes of data are on the 4G \/ LTE network, which accounts for 45.5% out of the total traffic transmitted within the company&#8217;s network during the first six months of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Due to increase in smartphone penetration and content weighting on the Internet, need for high-speed Internet is getting higher. According to the results of the first half of the year, 51% of the country&#8217;s population has access to the fourth generation communication in our network.
