Kcell – Among The Top 20 Largest Companies Of Kazakhstan


Kcell Joint Stock Company (hereinafter Kcell or the Company) (LSE, KASE: KCEL) confirmed its leading market position within RAEX Index (“Expert RA Kazakhstan”). Based on RAEX Agency evaluation Kcell was included into the list of 20 largest companies in the country and became leader among the best telecommunication companies in Kazakhstan in the annual rating of the largest companies of Kazakhstan.

As per the result of assessing activity of 200 leading Kazakhstani companies Kcell confirmed its positions and was listed among the top 20 largest companies of the country and top 10 most profitable enterprises in Kazakhstan this year. Companies’ place in “Expert-200-Kazakhstan” rating was defined based on volume of goods, works and services sold in 2014.

“200 Largest Companies of Kazakhstan” rating includes the enterprises which benchmarked favorable business environment in the country. “Sales of the 200 largest Kazakhstani companies increased by 5% and reached 24.4 billion tenge in 2014. Total sales volume of telecommunication companies increased by 3% last year and was equal to 357 999 million tenge,” RAEX* noted.
