On 4th March the final round of II International Contest “Zhas Zerde” of student research papers in the area of marketing and sociologic studies was held. The company became a partner to the Contest within “Kcell Academy” project scope. 69 student teams from Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine took part in the Contest.
“Zhas Zerde” Contest was held in two stages. First stage was held in online format as a result of which research papers of 22 teams from the three countries were chosen. The Students were defending their research papers in two sections – “Market studies” and “Sociological studies”.
As it turned out the participants showed their concern in important challenges of the modern era. They presented their studies for various subjects: ecological conditions and green technologies, burning social issues and finding their solutions. Brilliant research papers such as “Market researches of recycling plastic waste market”, “Country-wide brand as market study subject”, “Pharmacoepidemiological review of administrating antibiotics by children in outpatient conditions” and other researches were presented at the Contest.
Subject variety was predetermined by profiles of universities taking part in this Contest, including Kazakh National Medical University after S.D. Asfendiyarov, Financial University at the Government of the Russian Federation, Kazakh Agro-Technical University after S. Seifullin and other higher education institutions.
Interesting fact was that the student’s attention is attracted to development of telecommunication area in Kazakhstan. Thus the team from Almaty University “AlmaU” presented their research paper “Market studies of consumer’s preferences and client loyalty to cellular communication providers in Kazakhstan”. It should be noticed that results of this research may be applied in practice to the fullest extent.
Four master classes were organized for the participants in the final round of the Contest. Future marketing experts were able to take part in “1С-СRM” master class, organizing stream sales within the enterprise” and the students also had master class devoted to the subject “Why it’s so important to know typologyof people?”
Jury board included professional marketing experts. PR-experts, representatives of the largest research companies and Association of sociologists in Kazakhstan. The Contest organizers were “Kazakhstani Association of professional researches of public views and market” and Business University “AlmaU”.

During this year the presented studies were quite different in levels.
