For the first three months of 2017, the Kcell subscribers have used more than 42 million gigabytes of data. From the last quarter of 2016, data traffic increased by 11.5 percent, and by the ratio with the same period of 2016 it increased by 67.4%.
Within the first quarter of 2017, only in the 4G/LTE network, Kcell and Activ subscribers used more than 10 million gigabytes of data. This is equal to 25% out of total amount of traffic. It should be pointed out that the increase of consumption of the 4G network is observed: in January — 3.3 million Gb, in February — 3.4 million Gb, and in March data transmission increased up to 3.8 million Gb. Herewith, the average maximum speed of the Internet reached 75 Mb/s.

Specialists of the Kcell company regularly measure the quality of Internet communication and voice services throughout the country. In the first quarter of 2017, Engineers of the company drove about 5 thousand kilometers for quality inspection of the network. Drive tests were carried out in four cities — Almaty, Taldykorgan, Kyzylorda, Shymkent and Taraz. Measurements of quality of the voice communication of the Kcell during the drive tests in Almaty and Shymkent showed the maximum values — 4.45 and 4.44 scores out of 5 upon the MOS scale (Mean Opinion Score) using the international algorithm — POLQA (Perceptual Objective Listening Quality Assessment).
