Annual summit KazakhstanGrowthForum, where opportunities for growth and important issues of business administration of national companies, taking into consideration influence of global digitalization tendencies were discussed, was held on 19th of September. At the conference Vadim Lyu, Director on development of business market of the Kcell JSC told about experience of launch of start-up inside telecommunication company and how it helps to stimulate innovations in corporate environment.
“I came in the corporate world from the start-up and I believe that specifically start-ups will compromise traditional business models for a very long time, changing life for the better through innovations. In the Kcell we studied experience of corporations, which keep entrepreneurial spirit and speed, regardless the scale. After this we created our own start-up inside the company. Now it works in 5 directions: financial services, data monetization, online shop, IoT and digital content. Flexible cross-functional command creates new opportunities to increase income and it is a test site for new practices, best of which we will replicate in the main business”, noted he in his speech.
More than 300 leaders and shareholders of the largest companies of the country, industry analysts, foreign investors, representatives of government structures took part in the KazakhstanGrowthForum. Yerbolat Dossayev, Oraz Zhandossov, Kayrat Mazhibayev, Ablay Myrzakhmetov, Aidan Karibzhanov, David Watchel were among the guests of the forum.
This year the key theme of the forum was related to global trends and challenges of digitalization of Kazakhstan economy. Invited experts of the forum shared practical experience in implementation of digital technology in business. During the forum speakers raised such themes as ignition of high-impact entrepreneurship at developing markets, national economic priorities, overcoming of technological gap and many others.
