Almaty, 21 February2022. Kcell Joint Stock Company (“Kcell” or the “Company”) (KASE: KCEL) – With regard to the information that appeared in mass media staying that the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of Financial Market (ARFM) has recognized more than 200 transactions involving Kcell shares as committed for the purpose of manipulating the securities market, Kcell JSC informs as follows: Kcell JSC has made a formal request to the ARFM to, as soon as possible, provide copies of Order No.43 of the Deputy Chairman of the Agency dated 28 January 2022 and the conclusion of the Expert Commission.
Kcell will get acquainted with the results of the analysis conducted by the ARFM and take measures depending on the Company.
Kcell JSC notes that it is not a party to transactions involving its own shares on KASE or off the exchange and has no leverage to influence the value of its shares other than by increasing shareholder value through efficient performance.
