The multi-media portal «Exclusive» with the support of Akimat of Almaty city and «Kcell» company announced the start of the National Project «El Tulgasy» («Name of the Motherland»).
The idea of the project is to choose the most significant Kazakhstani people, whose names are associated with achievements of the country over the years of independence. These are the people whose activities, achievements and creativity in social activities, arts and culture, business, sports and science form the shape of independent Kazakhstan.
«The strength of the country is in people who build the history with their own hands. In each country there are national heroes – contemporaries. By supporting this project, we wish that the power of the spirit of its Kazakh folk heroes, their love and devotion to the motherland and contribution to social activities were duly noted. The Kazakhstanis are proud of them, and so we do. We wish all the participants and winners of the project not to stop on the achievements and do the good to people and independent Kazakhstan», – said Arti Ots, Chief Executive Director, «Kcell» JSC.
Voting at the competition is held in seven categories: social activities, business, arts and culture, science, sports, the new name, and personality in the history of Kazakhstan. In each of the nominations there are ten Kazakhstanis who have achieved a certain success in their field and have become known in our country. Only one vote can be given to a particular person. Voting is available on the website exclusive.kz.
Voting will be held from August to December 2016. Results will be announced on the eve of Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The first Kazakhstani nationwide contest “El Tulgasy” (“Name of the Motherland”) was launched in December 2011. At that time more than 80 thousand people took part in the vote. In 2015, the project was attended by more than 350 thousand Kazakhstanis. It means that people learned about the voting from each other, told their friends about the nominees, their contribution to the achievements of Kazakhstan and how to vote. That was the main objective of the project – to introduce Kazakhstanis closer to the people who made the greatest contribution to the development of the country.
“El Tulgasy” (“Name of the Motherland”) – is a project for everyone who is not indifferent to the history and present and future of Kazakhstan.
